AI is suddenly everywhere, and most of what's written about it is either hype, sales copy, or so technical that a normal person walks away more confused than before. We built EntryPoint AI to be the opposite: a place that explains artificial intelligence in plain English, honestly, for people who just want to understand it and use it well. EntryPoint AI is an independent publication based in Uruguay.

What we cover

We write for curious people, not computer scientists. If you've ever wondered what AI actually is, whether ChatGPT is safe to use, or how to get a better answer out of tools like ChatGPT and Gemini, this is for you. Our guides fall into a few buckets:

• AI explained — the big ideas in plain language: what AI is, how it works, and what it isn't.
• Using ChatGPT — practical, beginner-friendly how-tos for getting real results.
• AI tools & everyday AI — the tools everyone's talking about, and down-to-earth ways AI can help in daily life.
• AI safety — calm, honest answers to the questions people actually worry about.

How we make these guides

We research each topic against primary sources, draft the article — sometimes with help from AI tools for research and structure — then fact-check and edit it by hand before publishing. We write at a level a complete beginner can follow, define terms the first time we use them, and cut the jargon. We explain this in full in our editorial policy.

Our standards

• Plain English, always. If a term needs explaining, we explain it. No hype, no buzzwords for their own sake.
• Honest about the limits. We tell you what AI is good at and where it gets things wrong, so you can use it wisely instead of trusting it blindly.
• Accurate. We check facts, prices, and claims against official sources, and we don't print what we can't stand behind.
• We fix mistakes. Get something wrong and we'll correct it, and note that we did. You can always reach us through our contact page.

How we make money

EntryPoint AI is free to read. To keep it that way, we plan to cover the cost of running the site through display advertising and, where it's relevant, affiliate links — meaning if you buy something through one of our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Either way, that never changes what we recommend or how we write.
