Does threatening AI actually work?
Google's co-founder says chatbots do better if you threaten them. Wharton found no average gain, and single questions swinging 36 points up or 35 down.
Why does AI always pick 17?
It doesn't. Ask for 1 to 50 and you'll get 27, ask for 1 to 100 and it's usually 37, 47 or 73. The number follows the range you asked for. That's the giveaway.
Does AI use your drinking water?
Often yes: plenty of data centers run on treated tap water. But the 57% everyone quotes describes one company in one year, not the industry.
Why does AI use so many em dashes?
Chatbots lean on the em dash because of what they were trained to read. But it is a terrible test for spotting AI writing, and we counted to show why.
Does Meta AI read your WhatsApp messages?
No — your ordinary chats stay encrypted and Meta AI can't see them. What you type into Meta AI is another story, and the blue circle can't be switched off.
Should you use AI to write your resume?
